GOALKEEPER SCHOOL PROGRAM

GGS Soccer Academy is pleased to offer ALL goalkeepers from ANY club a top-notch Goalkeeper Program, which focuses on the specialized skills necessary for young goalkeepers to excel in the sport of soccer.

Goalkeeper Academy Director Marcos Machado will lead the program. The training sessions will focus on developing a goalkeeper’s technique and understanding of roles and responsibilities and developing each athlete physically and mentally to play the position. GGS Goalkeeper Academy has identified five (5) main technical and tactical behaviors where all goalkeepers must excel:

The program is designed specifically for goalkeepers that want to reach their goals faster and perfect their technical fundamentals. Whether you are a club, development academy, or college goalkeeper, this is the perfect program. To give the young goalkeepers the best training environment possible, the Director has established the following parameters:

Each goalkeeper will be dressed appropriately for goalkeeper training. That includes proper goalkeeper pants (if necessary), a long sleeve shirt, soccer boots, shin guards, goalkeeper gloves, and a properly inflated soccer ball.
Each goalkeeper will train with the appropriate age group and skill level. There will be no exceptions unless authorized by the Director of Goalkeeping.
All goalkeepers are expected to attend goalkeeper training. If there is a conflict with other team sessions, goalkeeper training takes priority.
