For those players turning 18 years old before July 31, 2023, and those currently 18, you need to complete the SafeSport requirement as a matter of priority. GGS Soccer Academy cannot add a player to the roster until this has been completed; please allow around 90 minutes to complete the requirement. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS.

• There is no fee associated with SafeSport training.  

• To ensure the certificate correctly links to GotSport, please: 

  • Please follow the directions and ensure the correct player’s email address is entered in GotSport and SafeSport. 

  • Use the player’s name exactly as it is entered in GotSport. 

• The player will be required to complete this training before they can be registered to FYSA and rostered to any team. 

• Completion will take up to 24 hours to be reflected in the player’s profile – please do not complete additional courses. 

• Allow 90 minutes – CLEARANCE TO TRAIN AND PLAY WILL ONLY BE APPROVED ONCE THE COURSE HAS BEEN COMPLETED.

• Please only access the SafeSport site via GotSport to ensure it is successfully linked. 

  • Only available once registration for this season has been completed.
