At GGS Soccer Academy, we are very proud of our achievements, especially of all the hard-working people and businesses connected with the academy. Their commitment and dedication have led us to much on-field success, and above all, it has allowed us to connect with our families and their local communities powerfully. Thanks to supporters like you, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of children in our communities, and we hope to continue our work.
Why is this important? Because the emotional, social, and health benefits that come with being involved in playing soccer will help children far beyond the pitch. Unfortunately, too many children in underserved communities are still left out, which was true before the pandemic and even more so now. Therefore, GGS Soccer Academy, affiliated with Ocoee Soccer League (OSL) and Let Me Play Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, created the “No Child Left Behind” program, where we make sure that every child in need of financial assistance, has an opportunity to play. The program has allowed GGS Soccer Academy to award over $300,00.00 in scholarships to families in the 2021/2022 soccer season alone.
Furthermore, in the last three years, GGS Soccer Academy has also contributed over $200,000.00 towards equipment and the development of a new soccer field at Jim Beech Recreation Center in Ocoee, FL, which was completed in May 2022. In addition, we started the “No Child Left Behind Christmas Rally” - donating hundreds of toys to the Ocoee Police Department’s Toys for Kids in Need. Last but not least, GGS Soccer Academy has continued to help community schools and churches to start and develop soccer programs and provide over 5000 hours of community service per year, from our coaching staff, at the OSL soccer program.
As you can see, we put much time, work, and effort into managing the academy; however, we know we cannot do this alone. Therefore, we ask for contributions, partnerships, and sponsorships; to help subsidize the cost of new equipment, scholarships for children who can’t afford to play, field upkeep, and the development of new soccer fields in our local communities. To continue to make this rewarding experience a reality for our youth, we are reaching out directly to area businesses, families, and friends and offering them the opportunity to help by becoming a club donor, partner, and/or sponsor. We do hope that this is something you might be willing to consider.
We can only ask that you please take a moment to review and select a sponsorship or donation package that best fits your budget or business. Through your participation, we can make a significant difference in the lives of young people. Please find a breakdown and further details for donations and/or sponsorship packages. We welcome the opportunity to sit down if you need to speak further about this.
We thank you for your consideration and look forward to having you be a part of the GGS Soccer Academy Family!
