Welcome to the OSL, where the love of the game takes center stage! Our developmental soccer program is the heart of GGS and is dedicated to introducing all boys and girls aged 2 to 13 (U3 to U14) to the joys of the beautiful game. The program is sponsored by the Let Me Play Foundation and powered by GGS.

Our developmental soccer program is not just about wins and losses; it’s about fostering a deep passion for soccer while building a solid foundation in the fundamentals. At GGS, having fun on the field is where the magic begins.

Whether your little one is taking their first steps and touches on the field or already kicking it with friends, our program welcomes all skill levels. We’re not just about teaching soccer; we’re about creating a supportive environment where kids can bond with their friends and schoolmates while exploring the exciting world of soccer.

FIRST TOUCH

The First Touch program is designed to introduce 2 to 4-year-olds (U3 - U5) to play soccer for the first time in a small-sided setting. First Touch will allow players to learn the basic concepts of soccer in a fun environment that will set the foundations for a lifetime of enjoyment. The focus will be on basic techniques and movement, with a strong emphasis on FUN!

First Touch is a unique opportunity to introduce your child to soccer. This program will offer eight (8) 45-minute sessions for you and your child. Both of you will have fun working together with a GGS coach. The coaching staff will present basic ball skills and coordination games. It will give your child a great start to this lifetime sport and prepare them for OSL’s MiniKickers Program.

Minikickers

The MiniKickers program at OSL is perfect for children ages 5 to 10 (U6-U11), as it focuses on teaching young athletes to have fun playing soccer while learning the fundamentals of the game.

At this level, players must become familiar with the game and its rules and develop an understanding of their individual technical skills. This program aims to provide a pleasant environment for players while maintaining the integrity of the game and teaching proper values and life lessons.

It will give your child a great start to this lifetime sport and prepare them for OSL’s Future Stars Program.

The Future Stars program at OSL, for children aged 11 to 13 (U12-U14), is an introduction to competitive soccer for the next generation of stars.

Future Stars builds agility, footwork, and a basic understanding of soccer tactics, listening skills, and teamwork to help prepare children for the competitive level. Each session will engage the players in a fun and playful environment.

The objective of this program will be to help develop a young athlete’s motor skills, balance, and coordination.

It will give your child a great start to this lifetime sport and prepare them for GGS’s Competitive Program.

The R.I.S.E. Program is designed for players ages 14+ who are ready to take their game to the next level through consistent, high-quality training — without the immediate commitment of joining a competitive team.

Built around our core philosophy — Reach, Improve, Succeed, Excel — this program provides a structured environment where players can continue developing their technical skills, game understanding, and confidence at their own pace. It’s the ideal pathway for athletes who want more than recreational play, but need additional time and preparation before transitioning into a competitive setting.

Through focused training sessions, players are challenged to grow, build consistency, and elevate their performance, while staying connected to the GGS player pathway. Whether the goal is to prepare for competitive soccer or simply to train at a higher level, the R.I.S.E. Program offers the perfect balance of flexibility, development, and opportunity.
