Rule 1 - Organizer and datesGolden Goal Sports LLC, doing business as GGS Soccer Academy, administers the Passport to Legacy Fundraising Challenge. Contact: info@goldengoalsports.com.The campaign runs from its public launch through January 15, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Eligible funds and complete records must be received by GGS by that cutoff. The associated Mexico trip takes place January 21–25, 2027. GGS will publish the final verification, correction, notification, and claim schedule before the campaign opens, allowing awards to be arranged before departure. Additional challenges may use shorter announced periods within this campaign.Rule 2 - Automatic enrollment and family eligibilityA family is automatically enrolled when an eligible athlete completes Mexico trip registration and the required $100 per-athlete deposit is paid. There is no separate challenge registration, link, or enrollment fee. Families that completed these steps before launch are automatically included from launch. Families registering later are included when both steps are complete. Qualifying activity begins no earlier than launch and the family’s eligibility date. One household is one family for scoring and prize limits. Multiple athlete registrations do not create separate family entries. A winning household selects one registered athlete and one accompanying parent or legal guardian for the grand prize. The athlete must remain accepted and registered for the trip, and the selected travelers must be able to travel on the approved itinerary.GGS staff members may not receive prizes. A household in which a GGS staff member would receive or share the award is not prize eligible, including a shared travel or account benefit. Staff may still participate in the separate Family Credit Program with an eligible child. Organizers and reviewers must not decide or verify an award in which they have a personal interest.Rule 3 - Eligible contributionsOnly voluntary support received through GGS-approved challenge activities and attributed to an eligible family counts. GGS will identify the receiving organization, purpose, and official payment destination before an activity begins. Contributions are measured by gross verified dollars, before any separately approved Family Credit is calculated. Any activity-specific limit must be announced before that activity starts.Unpaid pledges, in-kind gifts, unsold forms, volunteer time, trip deposits, tuition, and ordinary team or travel payments do not count. Payments made, financed, or reimbursed by the competing household do not count. Genuine support from other relatives, friends, and businesses may qualify. Returned, reversed, disputed, or unverified payments are excluded. Each qualifying payment must identify the supporter, amount, date, payment reference or receipt, family, and participating team. A contribution may count once in a family total and once in that family’s assigned team total. It may not be allocated to multiple families or teams. Families with athletes on several teams must identify one team for each contribution when it is recorded; later transfers are limited to correcting documented errors.Rule 4 - Fund handling and verificationFamilies must use GGS-authorized forms and payment instructions. Cash requires a dated receipt and submission of the funds and corresponding records. Zelle payments must go to the official recipient and identify the participating family. The deadline applies to receipt by GGS, not merely collection by a family. Late funds do not increase a challenge total.Progress totals are provisional until verified. GGS will provide an opportunity to report recording errors before finalizing results. Corrections require evidence of eligible funds received on time; new fundraising cannot be added after the cutoff. At least two authorized reviewers without a relevant conflict will confirm the final rankings. Families must accurately explain where funds go and must not promise an unauthorized tax deduction.Rule 5 - Challenges and prize allocationGrand prize: The eligible family with the highest final verified contribution total receives the two-traveler award described in Rule 6. Second place: The next eligible family in the final ranking receives the second-place prize announced by GGS. No minimum fundraising amount applies to these rankings unless disclosed before the main campaign begins.Team contribution challenge: The participating team with the highest combined verified dollar contributions wins. GGS will announce the team prize, eligible beneficiaries, roster cutoff, and allocation method before team scoring begins. Only otherwise eligible registered trip families may receive a team award benefit. A family’s individual prize does not prevent it from benefiting from one team challenge.Additional individual or team challenges and milestone prizes may be announced during the campaign. Each notice must identify its category, objective achievement or scoring method, prize and value, number of recipients, dates, tie procedure, and fulfillment terms before that additional challenge begins. Notices cannot retroactively change the main rankings or remove an earned benefit. No challenge winner is selected by chance. Each household may receive no more than one individual challenge prize and no more than one team challenge prize across the entire campaign. The grand prize and second place are individual prizes. Milestone prizes count in their announced category. Recognition without a prize does not count. A family with athletes on multiple teams cannot receive benefits from more than one team challenge.GGS will allocate the grand prize and second place first, then finalize other individual awards among families that met the relevant criteria and have not received an individual prize. Additional notices must state the order for resolving overlapping awards. If a family has already received its allowed award, the next eligible recipient under that challenge’s published criteria receives the prize. Interim milestone recognition does not finalize an individual prize award. For tied contribution totals, the family or team that first reached the final tied total wins, using GGS receipt records. If those timestamps match, the earlier sequential receipt record completing that total prevails. GGS must maintain unique receipt records. Any different tie procedure for an additional challenge must be objective and published before that challenge starts.Rule 6 - Grand prize travel awardOne award covers one eligible GGS athlete and one parent or legal guardian traveling together on the approved January 21–25, 2027 Mexico itinerary. It includes round-trip economy airfare, on the GGS-approved flights to and from Cancún (up to $600 per individual), one standard room for two travelers for four nights at the designated group hotel; and the full GGS athlete and accompanying-parent packages. The published trip identifies the Hampton Inn by Hilton Mérida as the group hotel. The prize room covers check-in January 21 and check-out January 25, including mandatory room taxes and fees. The athlete package is currently $575 and the companion package $275. GGS will publish the final combined prize value, approved flight details, baggage and seating allowances, and booking instructions before the main challenge begins. The packages cover the services listed in the official trip itinerary for the applicable traveler, including group transportation in Mexico, scheduled attractions, breakfast, and the applicable athlete uniform or companion spirit wear. Tournament participation applies to the athlete. Hotel arrangements and airfare are covered separately by the grand prize.Additional travelers, upgrades, extra nights, passports, visas, travel insurance, personal purchases, adult beverages, and meals outside the package are excluded unless GGS expressly includes them in the prize notice. Families remain responsible for hotel incidentals, security holds, and any legally applicable personal taxes. There is no elective cash alternative. The award cannot be sold or transferred to another household.Rule 7 - Prior payments and excess fundsGGS will publish how covered services will be booked or settled and how previously paid covered charges will be treated before the main challenge begins. Families must follow the approved trip booking instructions and retain itemized receipts. No charge may be paid twice. Optional upgrades and amounts outside the published coverage remain the family’s responsibility.Excess money is not distributed to a family or individual. A family may submit a request to info@goldengoalsports.com asking that eligible excess funds be applied toward specific outstanding GGS fees. GGS must verify the available amount and approve the requested use before posting an offset. Approval is discretionary and not automatic; any approved amount is applied directly to eligible fees and cannot exceed the approved outstanding balance.Amounts not approved for a fee offset remain with GGS to support scholarships. A fundraising total is not a personal cash balance. This excess-funds policy does not automatically convert the advertised value of a travel or merchandise prize into fee credit, and it does not create a right to a cash payout. Separate Family Credit amounts remain subject to that program’s terms.Trip invoices remain due while a family participates. Families must not delay payment because they expect to win. Registration, deposits, cancellations, and existing financial obligations remain subject to the accepted trip and program agreements.Rule 8 - Separate programsPassport to Legacy is administered by GGS and is separate from the Let Me Play Community Giveaway. No purchase, contribution, or community service is required for the separate giveaway. Challenge contributions do not purchase entries or increase drawing odds. The Family Credit Program has separate eligibility, approval, credit calculations, form limits, and deadlines. Challenge enrollment does not automatically approve Family Credit participation or create credit. GGS must identify which fundraising activities qualify for challenge scoring before those activities begin. If an activity also qualifies for separately approved Family Credit, the challenge total is the verified gross contribution amount before that program’s credit calculation. Existing limits still apply to the activity through which funds are collected.Rule 9 - Award administration and conductGGS will contact potential winning families using their trip registration email and telephone details. The published campaign schedule or applicable challenge notice will state the response deadline and required steps. Families must provide accurate traveler names, required travel documents, and permissions for a minor to travel. A parent or legal guardian remains responsible for the athlete outside designated GGS activities. If a potential recipient is ineligible, declines, misses the published response deadline, or cannot use the trip award on the stated dates, GGS will offer the award to the next eligible recipient under the same ranking or achievement criteria. An unaccepted award does not count as a received prize. No family may transfer its award to another household.Falsifying records, concealing reversed payments, retaining collected funds, financing disguised contributions, coercing support, or making misleading claims may result in disqualification. Minors must have adult supervision during fundraising. GGS will provide the reason for a proposed disqualification and an opportunity to respond before a reviewer without a conflict decides the matter.GGS will apply the published rules consistently and honor announced prizes. Changes to an additional challenge must not retroactively disadvantage participants or change earned results. Before launch, the grand-prize notice must explain the funded substitute benefit or other fulfillment remedy if the trip is canceled. No promised prize may simply be withdrawn because participation or contributions are lower than expected. Applicable legal rights are preserved.Rule 10 - Privacy and participant informationTrip registration information and contribution records will be used to administer eligibility, totals, awards, and approved fee offsets under GGS's Privacy Notice. Public progress updates will use agreed family or team identifiers. Supporter payment details and private athlete information will not be published. Photo and promotional consent is separate and optional.GGS will make these rules and each applicable challenge notice available to automatically enrolled families through the trip registration process and direct communications. Already registered families will receive the rules without having to complete another challenge registration. Automatic enrollment does not constitute photo consent or a waiver of legal rights. Families may opt out by contacting GGS; opting out does not itself cancel the trip or waive other obligations. For contribution corrections, award questions, fee-offset requests, or an opt-out request, contact us at info@goldengoalsports.com.
